Gabi {green bay senior photographer}

This winter has been very mild in Wisconsin, so I am thrilled to be able to get out and do some photography. The natural light in the winter is some of the best light ever, its a shame that its usually too cold to shoot. Seniors are really missing out on all the cool things we can do in the winter as compared to a summer session. Next year I am going to offer mini winter sessions to all my high school senior sessions. Why not do a session this summer and another one in the fall and end it with a killer winter snow session!?! I’m game are you? I know Gabi was and she killed it with this shoot!

I usually like to end my sessions with some more artistic images to really create something that is unique to the person I am photographing. I found out that Gabi did some acting, dance and theater. Since she was nursing a sprained ankle I knew any ballet moves were out, so I decided to have her act out something more dramatic and passionate. I grabbed some dried out weeds and explained to Gabi that I wanted her to gaze into the mirror with some intent, or slight sadness. She delivered and we got some amazing shots that may not be the typical senior pictures, but they really identify with what passion Gabi had for her theater background.
