Wings of a Hero {green bay senior photographer}

By: Dan Frievalt

I am proud to say that I have photographed three of the five members of the Christian band Wings of a Hero for their senior pictures. This band of young adults are very talented and deliver a great message. They are making waves in the music industry and just played at Lifefest this summer!

Please check them out and download some of their music if you had a chance. I have been listening to “It’s My Life” all weekend after downloading it on Friday. I can only post Maddie and Austin’s images since I photographed Brady when I was with my old company and don’t hold the rights to those images anymore. Sorry Brady I guess you will just have to come back for another session:)I wish I had this much ambition and talent at their age. Good Luck guys I will always be a fan!

AUSTIN PASCHKE – Guitar

MADELINE MACCO – Vocals/Keys

BRADY PASCHKE – Drums

Nice day for a White Wedding {green bay wedding photographer}

That’s right folks it was a nice day for a “White” Wedding as in the Groom’s last name is White. Sorry I grew up in the 80’s and couldn’t resist the Billy Idol reference.

All kidding aside Joe and Janet had an amazing day and I was very honored to be their photographer to capture all the amazing moments as the unfolded on their wedding day. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day, enjoy.

Frievalt Photography Grand Opening

Six weeks of hard work has finally paid off and I am now officially in my new cutting edge photography studio in De Pere.

{Rewind} Six weeks ago I found the perfect location for my new photography studio, only one problem…it was an old daycare! Yes not what you would think as a great building for a photography studio, but the location was ideal and the owner and my neighbors All That Dance are fantastic. I was able to save money by helping the owner do must of the teardown and construction of the new studio transformation. We ended up pretty much gutting the place out and starting over. The worst part of the process was removing the old teddy bear wallpaper and the carpet that was glued down with some super massive adhesive…not fun at all. It look a week to get it all removed.

I wanted the design of the space to be clean and modern, so I decided on different shades of cool greys, blues and black since most of my photography is rich and dynamic in color. One thing that everyone loves is the grey ceilings and rich black flooring. I must agree especially with the flooring even though it will not be fun to clean this winter with the snow and salt being tracked in. Oh well the look is totally worth it!!

This is how it looked when I saw it. Full of stuff and ugly wallpaper!

Walls torn down…wallpaper still on the walls, lol

New walls, fresh paint and flooring…no more ugly wallpaper!

Metallic Canvas Gallery Wraps from WHCC and a 4″ x 3″ Metal Mural.

Ugly green room and terrible carpet…

After…killer black floors and grey ceiling topped off with a variety of photography samples and a 60″ plasma TV.

If you or someone you know is interested in getting artistic High School Senior Photography, please let them know that I’m now in De Pere and ready to provide a photography experience that is unlike anything this area has seen. I also provide photography for weddings, families, pets and model portfolio’s.

Please take a few minutes to check out my website. Frievalt Photography and like me on Facebook.
